§ 8-4. Effectiveness of special election results.

Latest version.

After a special election for the replacement of an elected official of the city, the newly elected official will assume the duties of the office after certification by the supervisor of elections as to the results, or as soon as may be practicable thereafter if there has been a disputed election, and upon taking the oath of office.
