§ 1. Franchise Grant.

In consideration of the faithful performance and observation of the conditions and reservations herein specified and in consideration of the payments of the amounts provided herein, the right is hereby granted to Lauderhill Communications Corporation hereinafter referred to as "company," its successors, assigns or designees, to erect, maintain and operate a cable television service to be provided authorizing the use of public easements and rights-of-way for such purposes in the City of Lauderhill, Florida, hereinafter referred to as "city," and subsequent additions thereto, for the purpose of transmission and distribution of audio and visual impulses and radio and television energy as hereinafter defined and restricted in accordance with the laws and regulations of the United States of America, the State of Florida and the ordinances and regulations of the city for the period provided for in this ordinance.
