§ 2.01. Boundaries defined.

The corporate boundaries of the City of Lauderhill shall be set forth by ordinance. The corporate limits or boundaries of the City of Lauderhill are hereby established by Ordinance Number 08O-07-129, [and amended by Ordinance Number 10O-08-145,] as designated in the following Legal Description and accompanying sketches:

All of Sections 15, 16 and 22 and 23 of Township 49 South, Range 41 East, together with portions of Sections 14, 24, 25, 26, 35 and 36 of Township 49 South, Range 41 East, together with a portion of Section 31 of Township 49 South, Range 42 East, together with a portion of Section 5 and 6 of Township 50 South, Range 42 East being more particularly described as follows:

BEGINNING at the Northwest corner of said Section 16, Township 49 South, Range 41 East,

The next Three (3) courses being on the municipal boundary of the City of Lauderhill as established by Chapter 61-2387 of the laws of Florida;

Thence East on the North line of said Section 16 to the Northeast corner of said Section 16, said corner also being the Northwest corner of said Section 15;

Thence East on the North line of said Section 15 to the Northeast corner of said Section 15;

Thence South on the East line of said Section 15 to the intersection with a line 40 feet North of and parallel to the South line of said Section 14,

The next Two (2) courses being on the municipal boundary of the City of Lauderhill as established by Chapter 96-539 of the laws of Florida;

Thence East on said parallel line to a point on a line 100.57 feet West of the East line of said Section 14;

Thence South 15°36'34" West a distance of 41.62 feet to a point on the South line of said Section 14;

Thence East on said South line to the intersection with the West Right-of-Way line of the Sunshine State Parkway (Florida Turnpike); said intersection also being on the North line of said Section 23, said point being on the Corporate City limits of the City of Lauderhill as established by Chapter 61-2387 (Senate Bill No. 953) of the laws of Florida and the Corporate City limits of the City of Tamarac according to Ordinance 72-21;

Thence on said municipal boundary of the City of Tamarac according to Ordinance 72-21, East on the North line of said Section 23 to the Northeast corner of said Section 23;

Thence continue East on said municipal line and on the North line of said Section 24 to the intersection with the East right of way line of the Florida Turnpike (Sunshine State Parkway), said point being on the Westerly Corporate limits of the City of Lauderdale Lakes according to Ordinance 104;

Thence Southerly on said Westerly Corporate limits of the City of Lauderdale Lakes and the East right of way line of the Florida Turnpike (Sunshine State Parkway) to the intersection with the North line of the North one-half (N ½) of the Southwest one-quarter (SW ¼) of said Section 24;

Thence Southerly on the said East right of way line of the Florida Turnpike (Sunshine State Parkway), said line also being on the West line of the North one-half (N ½) of the Southwest one-quarter (SW ¼), to the intersection with the South line of the North one-half (N ½) of the Southwest one-quarter (SW ¼) of said Section 24;

Thence Southerly on said East right of way line of the Florida Turnpike, said line also being on the West line of the Southwest one-quarter (SW ¼) of the Southwest one-quarter (SW ¼) of said Section 24, and the Westerly Corporate limits of the City of Lauderdale Lakes as established by Ordinance 178 to the intersection with the North line of the Northwest quarter (NW ¼) of Section 25 of Township 49 South, Range 41 East;

Thence Southerly on said East right of way line of the Florida Turnpike and on the municipal boundary of the City of Lauderdale Lakes as established by Charter 65-1809 (House Bill 2243) to the Northwest corner of the South one-half (S ½) of the North one-half (N ½) of the Southwest quarter (SW ¼) of said section 25;

Thence on the municipal boundary of the City of Lauderhill, East to the Northeast corner of the Northwest One-Quarter (NW ¼) of the Northwest One-Quarter (NW ¼) of the Northeast One-Quarter (NE ¼) of said Section 31, said point also being on the municipal boundary of the City of Fort Lauderdale, as established by Chapter 69-1057, Laws of Florida and on the municipal boundary of the City of Lauderhill as established by Ordinance 040-10-220 of the City of Lauderhill;

Thence on the municipal boundary of the City of Lauderhill as established by House Bill 1071 of the laws of Florida 2008 Legislature East on the Easterly prolongation of the South right-of-way line of NW 19 Street to the intersection with the East line of Section 31, Township 49 South, Range 42 East;

Thence South on said municipal boundary of the City of Lauderhill and on said East line of Section 31 to a point on the South line of the North One-Half (N ½) of the North One-Half (N ½) of the Southeast One-Quarter (SE ¼) of said Section 31, said point also being on the municipal boundary of the City of Fort Lauderdale, as established by Chapter 69-1057, Laws of Florida and on the municipal boundary of the City of Lauderhill as established by Ordinance 040-10-220 of the City of Lauderhill;

Thence South on the municipal boundary of the City of Lauderhill as established by Ordinance 040-10-220 of the City of Lauderhill and on said East line of Section 31, to the intersection with a line 500.00 feet South of and parallel with the North line of the Northeast One-Quarter (NE ¼) of the Southeast One-Quarter (SE ¼) of the Southeast One-Quarter (SE ¼) of said Section 31;

Thence South on the municipal boundary of the City of Lauderhill as established by Ordinance No. 04-10-217 of the City of Lauderhill and on said East line of Section 31, to a point on the Easterly prolongation of the North line of EXXON-SUNRISE BOULEVARD, as recorded in Plat Book 141, Page 38, Public Records of Broward County, Florida, said point being on the municipal boundary of the City of Lauderhill, as established by House Bill 1295, Laws of Florida 2010 Legislature;

Thence continue South on said municipal boundary of the City of Lauderhill and on said East line of Section 31, to the intersection with the centerline of Sunrise Boulevard; said point being on the municipal boundary of the City of Lauderhill, as established by Ordinance 100-01-100 of the City of Lauderhill;

The next two (2) courses being on the municipal boundary of the City of Lauderhill, as established by said Ordinance 100-01-100 of the City of Lauderhill;

Thence continue South on said East line of Section 31, to the Southeast corner of said Section 31 and the Northeast corner of said Section 6;

(2)

Thence Southerly on the centerline of Northwest 31st Avenue as shown on, THUNDERBIRD SWAP SHOP III, according the plat thereof, as recorded in Plat Book 142, Page 20 of the Public Records of Broward County, Florida, to a point on the municipal boundary of the City of Lauderhill, as established by Resolution 04-10-217, Laws of Florida;

Thence continue South on said centerline of Northwest 31st Avenue and said municipal boundary to a point on the municipal boundary of the City of Lauderhill as established by House Bill 1355 of the City of Lauderhill;

Thence South on said centerline of Northwest 31st Avenue and said municipal boundary to a point on the municipal boundary of the City of Lauderhill as established by Ordinance No. 050-11-209 of the City of Lauderhill, said point being on the North line of the Southwest One-Quarter (SW ¼), of the Southwest One-Quarter (SW ¼), of the Northwest One-Quarter (NW ¼) of said Section 5;

Thence Southerly along said centerline to a point of intersection with the East line of said section 6;

Thence South on said East line to the intersection with the North right-of-way line of Broward Boulevard and the boundary of the City of Fort Lauderdale as described in Chapter 69-1057, Laws of Florida;

Thence West on said North right-of-way line to the Northerly extension of the West right-of-way line of SW 31st Avenue;

Thence South on said Northerly extension to a point on the South line of said Section 6, said point being on the municipal boundary of the City of Fort Lauderdale, as established by Chapter 2001-291, Laws of Florida;

Thence West on said South line of Section 6 and on said municipal boundary to the intersection with the Southerly prolongation of the East line of the West 90 feet of Lot 11, Block 2 of BROWARD ESTATES SECTION 1, as recorded in Plat Book 33, Page 3, Public Records of Broward County, Florida, said point being on the municipal boundary of the City of Lauderhill, as established by House Bill 1071, Laws of Florida 2008 Legislature;

The next two (2) courses being on the municipal boundary of the City of Lauderhill, as established by said House Bill 1071:

Thence Northerly along said Southerly prolongation and East line of the West 90 feet of Lot 11 to the intersection with the North line of said Lot 11;

Thence Westerly along the North lines of Lot 11, Lot 10 and Lot 'G', Block 2 of said BROWARD ESTATES SECTION 1, to the Northwest corner of said Lot 'G', said point also being the Northeast corner of Tract "E", as shown on the plat of BROWARD ESTATES SECTION 2, as recorded in Plat Book 34, Page 19, Public Records of Broward County, Florida, said point being on the municipal boundary of the City of Plantation, established by Chapter 68-101, Laws of Florida and on the municipal boundary of the City of Lauderhill as established by Ordinance 050-11-209 of the City of Lauderhill;

The next seven (7) courses being on the municipal boundary of the City of Plantation, as established by Chapter 68-101, Laws of Florida and on the municipal boundary of the City of Lauderhill as established by Ordinance 050-11-209 of the City of Lauderhill;

Thence Westerly on the North line of Tracts "D" and "E" as shown on said BROWARD ESTATES SECTION 2 and the Westerly prolongation thereof, to a point of intersection with the centerline of NW 38th Way, as shown on said BROWARD ESTATES SECTION 2;

Thence Northwesterly on the centerline of said NW 38th Way to a point of intersection with the Southerly prolongation of the West line of Block 13, as shown by said BROWARD ESTATES SECTION 2;

(3)

Thence Northerly on the West line of Block 13 and the Southerly prolongation thereof, to the North line of said BROWARD ESTATES SECTION 2;

(4)

Thence Westerly along the said North line of BROWARD ESTATES SECTION 2 for a distance of 40 feet;

(5)

Thence Northerly along a line 230 feet East of and parallel to the West line of said Section 6, to the Westerly prolongation of the North right-of-way line of NW 5th Street as shown by plat of GREENLEAF, as recorded in Plat Book 42, at Page 9, Public Records of Broward County, Florida;

Thence Westerly along said Westerly prolongation for a distance of 5 feet;

Thence Northerly along a line 225 feet East of and parallel to the West line of said Section 6 to the Westerly prolongation of the North right-of-way line of NW 7th Street as shown on the plat of ACADEMY AWARD HOMES Section 3, as recorded in Plat Book 45, at Page 17 Public Records of Broward County, Florida, said point being on the municipal boundary of the City of Lauderhill, as established by Ordinance No. 040-10-219;

Thence North on said parallel line to a point of intersection with the South line of the West half (W ½) of the West half (W ½) of said Section 31;

Thence on the municipal boundary of the City of Lauderhill as established by Chapter 59-1487 of the laws of Florida, West on said parallel line to the intersection with the West Right-of-Way line of Northwest 55th Avenue, said point being the Southeast corner of Lot 1, Block 1 of said Falcon Sub. Number One;
