§ 9-48. Supervision.

The fire prevention bureau shall be under the supervision of a chief inspector designated by the city manager upon recommendation of the fire chief. All other members of the bureau shall be assistant inspectors. The chief of the fire department may, in the discretion of the city manager, be designated chief inspector of the fire prevention bureau.
