§ 7½-36. Qualifications of code enforcement special masters; appointment and removal; compensation.

(a)

Appointments of code enforcement special masters shall be made by the city commission upon the recommendation of the city manager as needed on the basis of experience or interest in code enforcement.

(b)

Special masters shall be active or retired members of the Florida Bar with at least five (5) years of experience.

(c)

Code enforcement special masters shall not be city employees but may be compensated at a rate to be determined by the manager, subject to approval by the city commission.
