§ 14-75. False alarm 911 calls.
Latest version.
A 911 call which is determined by the responding officer or dispatcher to have been caused by inadvertent dialing, false reporting of an emergency pursuant to section 14-71(e), or other such misuse, shall constitute a false alarm and shall be charged to the registered owner or lessee of the telephone from which the 911 call was made, in accordance with the fee schedule set forth in section 14-74.
