§ 12-63. Same—To be kept for one year; availability; data required.

The record of purchase herein required shall be kept on the business premises of the merchant for one year after the purchase, shall be made available to any law enforcement agency or officer upon request and shall include the following data:
(a)

The date of purchase;

(b)

A description of the item or items purchased;

(c)

The name and address of the seller;

(d)

The seller's signature;

(e)

The price paid for each item purchased;

(f)

The seller's drivers license number, if available; and

(g)

A description of the source used to identify the name and home address of the seller.
