Chapter 9. FIRE PROTECTION, PREVENTION, AND LIFE SAFETY |
Article I. IN GENERAL |
§ 9-3. Same—Savings clause; conflicts; subordination; application.
(a)
If any section, subsection, sentence, clause, provision, or portion of this Lauderhill Fire Prevention Code or any part of this chapter shall be held invalid for any reason, the remainder of the Lauderhill Fire Prevention Code and this chapter shall not be affected thereby but shall remain in full force and effect.
(b)
In the event that this fire prevention code conflicts with any other city code, ordinance or resolution, the most stringent shall apply.
(c)
The Florida Fire Prevention Code shall always prevail over this fire prevention code.
(d)
At no time shall this fire prevention code apply to any building in the City of Lauderhill, that has not been issued a certificate of occupancy from the building department.
