§ 1-10. Additional court cost for law enforcement education.

(a)

A court cost of one dollar ($1.00) is assessed against every person convicted for violation of a state penal or criminal statute or convicted for violation of a municipal or county ordinance.

(b)

One dollar ($1.00) from every bond estreature or forfeited bail bond related to such violations shall be collected and remitted to the city.

(c)

The above amounts, when remitted to the city, shall be used for the education of local law enforcement officers.
