§ 18-39. Appeals.

Any person who has been denied a certificate of compliance pursuant to the provisions of this article may file a written appeal with the city clerk requesting that the city commission review such denial. The appeal must be filed within twenty (20) days of the denial. The city clerk shall schedule such appeal on the city commission agenda within thirty (30) days of receipt of the appeal. The city commission shall hear the appeal and provide written findings and conclusions supporting its decision. The decision of the city commission on the appeal is subject to judicial review as provided by the laws of the state.
