§ 14-52. Placement of abandoned property prohibited.

(a)

It shall be unlawful for any person to park, store, leave, or place abandoned property on:

(1)

Any public property; or

(2)

Private property in violation of this article, or any other provision of this Code, applicable law, ordinance, or regulation.

(b)

This section shall not apply to any property owned or leased by the city.

(c)

In the event that there shall be a contract between the city and a towing company for the towing of vehicles, the terms of that contract shall prevail.
