§ 18. Transfer of Franchise.

The company shall not sell, lease, assign or transfer this franchise without the prior written approval of the city. Such approval for transfer shall not be granted by the city unless adequate proof of the responsibility and qualification of the transferee shall be shown to the city and the city shall make thorough investigation of the transferee and should the transferee not be duly qualified, in the opinion of the members of the city council of the City of Lauderhill, then in that event, such transfer shall not be approved.
