§ 9.03. Reduction of appropriations.

Latest version.
  • If at any time during the fiscal year it appears probable to the city manager that the revenues available will be insufficient to meet the amounts appropriated, the city manager shall report to the commission without delay, indicating the amount of such apparent deficit and the city manager's recommendations as to any steps to be taken. The commission shall then take any further action it deems necessary to prevent or minimize any such deficit, and for that purpose it may by ordinance reduce one or more appropriations.
