§ 2-112. Duties and responsibilities.

  • The responsibilities of the finance director and the finance department of the city are as follows:

    (a)

    The coordination of all financial affairs of the city.

    (b)

    The direction of all fiscal activities of the city.

    (c)

    Direct responsibility for all accounting, purchasing and budgeting functions of the city.

    (d)

    The filing of any and all financial records to any governmental agency of the state or federal government, as required by law, for the city.

    (e)

    Maintenance of all funds and accounts, including but not limited to all funds and accounts created for the city's outstanding bond issues.

    (f)

    Data processing.
