§ 21-67. Penalties for violations.

  • In addition to the penalties provided herein, any observed violation of this article by a customer-user shall subject the customer-user to the immediate turnoff of water to protect the health, welfare and safety of the citizenry and other customers-users utilizing the public potable water distribution system to which such customer-user is connected until the violator has fully complied with the terms of this article and provided appropriate protective devices to assure the control of any potential cross connection or backflow or backsiphonage, and shall otherwise subject such violator after due notice to be promptly enjoined from connection to its public potable water distribution system, and to pay all costs and attorney's fees incurred by the city in relation to such injunctive relief.
