§ 21-21. Plans and permit required; exception.

(a)

It shall be unlawful for any person to construct or install any water mains within the city without first submitting to the city plans and specifications showing the work to be done, materials to be used, and receiving a permit from the city prior to the commencement of any work in connection with the construction of said water mains.

(b)

This section shall not apply to service to individual houses of water line of one inch or less. The charge for an engineering permit for water line of more than one inch will be one-half (½) of one (1) percent of the total contract price.
