§ 19-68. Resolution determining to proceed.

  • If, after hearing the objections and protest, if any, the city council determines that it is necessary and/or wise and expedient to proceed with such improvement in the original or modified form, said council shall adopt a resolution determining to proceed with such improvement, which resolution shall disclose what part of the total cost and expenses of the improvement shall be chargeable against and assessed against the property benefited by the improvement, and what part or proportion of the total costs shall be paid by the City of Lauderhill from its general fund or any special fund on hand for such purpose. The resolution may direct that the whole or any part of the cost and expenses thereof be assessed against the property abutting upon the improvement; or may provide that all property benefited by the improvement may be assessed for such improvement in the manner set out therein.
