§ 19-42. Assessments.

The County Tax Assessor of Broward County, Florida, shall assess the taxes and millage levied by the city against the assessed valuation of real and personal property located within the corporate limits of Broward County, Florida; and the Tax Collector of Broward County, Florida, shall collect the taxes so assessed for the city and transmit the sum less discounts and exemptions and less commission to the city.
