§ 19-3. Definitions of minor object account, major object account, and capital projects line items.

(a)

Minor object account: An individual budget item which is a part of the total budget for any city department, other than a capital project line item.

(b)

Major object account: The total budget for any city department or a capital project line item.

(c)

Capital project line item: Any line item that contains items that cost more than one thousand dollars ($1,000.00) and have a useful life of greater than one (1) calendar year. The transfer of a capital project line item requires commission approval.
