§ 14-26. Resisting arrest; refusal to aid police.

No person in the city shall obstruct or resist a police officer of the city making or attempting to make a lawful arrest or in serving or attempting to serve any legal process, or knowingly give false or untrue or misleading information upon inquiry by an officer of the city regarding the whereabouts or identity of a person for whom an officer shall have a warrant, or in performing or attempting to perform his official duty, whether such person be acting as principal or accessory.
