§ 12-178. Sites on commercial and residential property.

  • (a)

    Commercial property. Micro cell and pico cell sites, and any other similar wireless system cell which attaches to an existing tower, building, or structure, are allowed on commercial property. Each cell site will require a permit as indicated in section 12-171. This permit for a cell site on commercial property must include a detailed design drawing of the proposed cell site, a statement of permission by the owner, and must be signed by the property owner and notarized. All fees and requirements of this division shall apply.

    (b)

    Residential property. No micro cell, pico cell, repeater, or translator sites are allowed on residential property. Placement of cells on residential property is a violation of this division and subject to a fine in accordance with section 1-8.
