§ 12-37. Duties of officers of corporations.

It shall be the duty of all officers, agents or persons in charge of the place of business of any corporation to see that such corporation complies with the provisions of this article. All officers or agents of any corporation required by this article to obtain a certificate of use and a local business tax receipt, which shall do business without having paid the local business tax imposed and procured such certificate of use and local business tax receipt, shall be subject to the penalties imposed by this article upon persons violating this article.
