§ 11-35. Kosher food inspector.

  • It shall be the duty of the kosher food inspector to inspect food, food products, beverages and merchandise held out to be kosher and premises held out as dealing in kosher food, food products, beverages and merchandise and to enforce the provisions of sections 11-32, 11-33, 11-34 of this article. The kosher food inspector shall not accept any consideration or value in the food establishment he serves as kosher food inspector. Failure to adhere to this requirement shall subject the kosher food inspector to discharge. Any person who offers or gives or promises the kosher food inspector any consideration or value with an intent or purpose to influence the performance of any act or omission to act by the kosher food inspector shall be guilty of bribery and punished under the laws of the State of Florida.
